The ad says need motor and trans but he has a trans for additional money. $2500 as is I think would be fair.

That bike is worth 8k maybe in running condition. Even 2500 sounds like a lot.

Wasn't gonna comment on the price but I'd agree way over priced.

I think $2500 is fair considering all the parts could be sold for a lot more. Right now there's a 107 S&S with a Ultma 6 speed trans for sale $2,000 on CL so for $4,500 you could have a nice bike. If that were a softail and close by it would be mine.

You'd be hard pressed to part that out and get more than $2500. Don't know what's left of the primary but either way it ain't much in used parts. Harley primary are cheap.

    Gas Tank - $200
    Rear Fender $75
    Front fender $40
    Handlebars and Controls $400
    Side cover $75
    Leds and lights $100
Struts - $10 (none sissy bar)
    Frame $500
Rims $600 with rotors and pulley
    Front fork and trees $250
    Brake calipers $100
    Harley primary $100

    $2450

That baker trans if you get it probably get $500 for it and that's about the profit you get from a lot of work

You forgot the ECH, the oil tank, the foot pegs, shifter, brake pedal, seat, spedo..... But I do agree it would be a lot of work to part it out but if you just wanted to put another used motor and trans in it you could have a nice bike for under $5k...

Yea who knows if the pegs are any good anyways or if the speedo or EHC works if it even has one. If its got a WP it's trash. Nobody is paying more than a few bucks for an EHC these days even if it works.

The transmission is available im sure if someone truly wanted the bike the seller would negotiate money talks
