    SF180A... the unit just simply spins on like the oil filter. Run the bike till the oil becomes clean and spin it back off.

    Amsoil is good. I run Mobil 1 cause its endorsed by S&S. And many will tell you their top end noise quiets down alot!

    That way, you can use your needle nose pliers to grip the flat end of the filter. The spring compresses against the flange on the filter when you install the tappet screen access bolt.

    yep...in Gas's pic....the open is down...and the pointed is at the top were he is grabbing it with the pliers
