The BDM Wolf and Victory motorcycles fall into nearly the same category. The Wolf owners have taken the same beating in the resale value as the Victory owners have. The only difference is that Victory has promised, note the word promised,to provide parts for the next 30 years. I wont live long enough to see how that works out.

How expensive do you think it would be to have a custom wheel machined and then chromed? I quess if you you paid what those bikes sold for new it really would not matter would it.

I was talking to a Victory owner last night at a bike night. He had a really nice bike with a lot of extra goodies. He told me 30 years but he may have been dreaming.

Personally I believe the Victory owners should have been able to trade their bikes in on an Indian and they should have been given their full purchase price minus something for the mileage on the bike. That way they would have a bike that today still has some resale value.

Didn't S&S have a recall on the wedge engine? Something about the cam drive belt? Is there any othe bikes using the wedge?

Just the Wolf...they did have a recall on that with overheating. Not sure if they still are offering that engine anymore think it was discontinued.

I know Frank people with Victory are screwed I haven't looked at resale now but just wait a year or two and they will be really cheap. At least we have parts from manufacturers that are still around they will all be up shit creek without a paddle.

Look at the bright side Frank, without a rear tire they shouldn't burn the motor up.

Just gotta reshape the fender and get a new set of rims and maybe modify the swing arm

Think you can still get parts from S&S on the xwedge for awhile I'm sure.

I like the way you're thinking Paul. The bright side is I don't own one even though I think they are great looking bikes.

I gotta agree wif ya, just not my style, but some of us love em, and maybe those people are not fans of K9's or Mastiff's, to each his own buddy! A buddy of mine I haven't seen in a few months sent me a pic of his bike, I couldn't believe it! Total makeover to say the least! He loves it, but not my style at all...... Tims new big wheel bagger.jpg
I don't know what he spent, but this bike was basically a stock Harley 3 months ago!
