Yes it sure was.
Both look great ! I'm kinda partial to the first pic with the "basket weave" look, but still think they both are sharp.
Or as someone previously mentioned, how about a pinstripe type of paint job?
Ok, I should also stipulate that I don't want to rehash old tired paint jobs from the paint book. I've done that stuff a million times. I'm' trying to think up new stuff that won't have a ton of time in it...
How's about some SS stripes with cool airbrushing, small area so you wouldn't have an extensive amount of time in it.
I really enjoyed looking at that paint book. Do you have other years available as well? Thanks.
I think the hard part for us Ed is that we aren't completely sure where to draw the line for "low budget." I'm sure that after all the years you've painted these Dogs it's difficult to come up with something fresh or new. I do like the idea of the SS stripes with air brushing in the stripes, or perhaps the ghost flame paint job but toss in some air brushed skulls or maybe hide the BDM logo in there somewhere. But make it to where the person has to really look at the bike to catch it. So almost un-noticeable in a sense.
Ed, where this is red put down blue, definetly more simpler
Or just the blue marbling
On the top half of the tank, with airbrushed chrome to separate. Sort of like this, but blue and no Hardley..
Or how's about some cool skulls in old skool flames..
I kinda like this one with a tear away reviling "S&S" or "BigDog"
You're just going to have to start and lay it down like you always do.
I sure it'll be awesome like it always is.
This is a cool design
Rip torn flag paint should look awesome and should be simpler than your normal insanity
That orange is pretty cool, but wrong color
Anxious to see
I wonder if he'll throw a finished pic up?
I hope so
I will still post paint jobs here as well. He doesn't have any problems with it, and there's always a chance it might sell to someone here!
