    looking to change pipes on that other brand bike:oldhardlaugh:my question is what's the best thing for chrome pipes with no heat shields to prevent blueing?

    Mask the exterior portion of the manifold area of the pipes area thoroughly, cover remaining chrome.
    Spray white hi-temp engine or other extreme heat resistant paint inside the header.
    This helps reducing temp related issues on any header application, but I have yet to find something that completely stops it.

    Methodically speaking, the lack of mileage, therefore the lack high Temps will help reduce the blue finish that is given off by the heat on Chrome accessories.
