I have both the e and g carbs in my bike. I honestly don’t see much of a difference in performance. The g carb is setup for bigger bore motors so I guess it really depends on the motor. My big bear has a 100” and the 107 in the big dog will do circles around it when it comes to power.
I have heard allot of good things about mikuni carbs and liferider has one on his and I am sure he can attest to the performance.

If you're going to modify your engine, and it's over 100 cu. in. by all means use a G carb.

One of the guys at BB&B fell in love with it and ordered one for his bike at MastiffDaves House so it would be waiting when he arrived home

Was thinking of working with john to get my G carb right but not sure now. I think the 45 would be more than enough for me.

Thunder jet will help in a lot of cases.
45 Mikuni works, as does the 48. 45 and 48 Mikuni use a G manifold, and get an adaptor for the Mikuni carb you're going to use to a S&S G manifold.
