I wonder who started this hi-jack
Definitely going to give it a shot, things are looking up financially but still really tight, how about you???
That's been said earlier, and someone didn't listen. Post #10
I don't have time to read through all the bullshit you guys post, holy crap it could take hours to get through it all, but thanks for letting me know!
To bad ya ain't retired,
Somebody musta pissed in your cheerios today, turn around
In my case, I ride a lot more than I clean. If I cleaned my wheels after every ride, I wouldn't notice any dust from brake pads. However, I don't clean my wheels but once every 4 to 6 months. I use the front brakes mostly and don't ever see brake pad dust on them (only dirt and dust and rain water spots). The back wheel is so wide that the dust has no place to go once it's on the inside surface. Just to and from work averages out to 48 trips between a wipe down or cleaning depending on how I feel. When I ride my Triumphs, I downshift a lot and don't use the brakes as much as the Big Dog. I downshift the Dog from 6 to 5 to 4th gear but then I use the front brake first and back as needed. The Big Dog weighs approximately twice what my Triumphs weigh.
I do believe I may clean the Dog prior to the Kansas trip but maybe not!
I have to agree with ya on the starters Carlos, I used my spare to get a local member up and running and told him to send his to Curtis for a rebuild and received a starter that was absolute junk, the member was charged for a new brush assembly and a new field coil and neither was installed in the starter. The pics below are the rebuilt starter, sure doesn't look like a new brush ass'y. When I questioned it, I was told I voided the warranty and had no reason to open it, well my suspicions were correct and he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
To his defense, he did refund the member the rebuild price that he charged him, but I still didn't have a quality starter without additional cost to myself.
You can see on here by his comments that there's no love lost between us and I'm ok with that, and now you can see why.
As a business you need to be able to take some constructive criticism in order to make your business better.
And Carlos, you did post his website and I don't understand, or should I say I do understand the comments because I've been there and I'm the A$$.
No I did not, I was only trying to turn some business his way. But I guess I shit the stick according the what was said . I can deal with It, I sleep well at night knowing that I have helped more people than not.
