A guy I worked with builds his own race bikes and he runs in the low 8's for years without incident and 4 weeks ago he was riding locally and hit a freakin deer, broke his leg and cracked a few ribs. Talk about luck :oldbang::oldrant:

Real performance is in the higher rpm range, but it sure does pull like a mother getting to the higher rpm's. I posted the dyno sheet some time back, think the thread was "dyno results" not sure. I do get into 5-6k range once and a while, but mostly do ride like a geezer..:D

Hey guys and gals does anyone know if you can use any other kind of air shock setup other than stock? I was thinking that maybe I could use progressive 722 or 422 air tail shocks for 84 to 99 Harley softail. Any info is welcomed my air ride has developed a slow but constant leak and I can't find a replacement or a place to get my air shock rebuilt.

My 05 had the air ride and I thought it was great until I got my 09 with the adjustable shocks, much better ride and not a pain in the ass like the air ride, if I still had the 05 I would switch to a adjustable shock over the air ride.
