My clutch just went limp with no return pressure

2006 BD K9...8900 miles....My clutch just went limp with no return pressure. Needs a new 12 plate clutch pack. Ordered from Baker direct...Best price online.

Even if one or two plates burned out, you'd still have some sort of spring pressure. Upon disassembly, I'd check for the shaft nut backing off.

I would make sure your main shaft nut didn’t back off first. That happened to me a few weeks ago. If the nut backs off, the clutch actuator rod looses contact with the throw out bearing.

Also check the clutch rod throw out bearing on the cable side. If not enough grease in there the tiny thin bearing fries & you get that condition. Happened to me!
