Finally installed my FSD exhaust. Looking for a good intake option now. Suggestions??

Hey fellas,
I've been so busy... I haven't had time to get on here much. I finally got around to installing my FSD pipes this weekend but now I need an intake as the stock one no longer fits.

I hear mixed things about the spike intakes and having issues with how the bike runs with one on it. I haven't seen too many options I like better though aside from the S&S dual runner with twin filters which is said to be the best performance wise.

Before i pull the trigger, I just wanted to make sure i didn't miss any other good options.

LMK what intake you would run and post pics of what you have if it's aftermarket. I want something that looks nice and also performs well.

Thanks guys!!

Anyone have any issues with the wimmer single spike intake? I'm thinking the single might look a little better on my pitbull. The dual spike is nice but I think it fits a little better on the bigger/longer K9.

Any other brand or model intake suggestions?

I run a D&M twisted spike on my 04 Pit.
No issues. My buddy n I fabbed a spacer so it could mount horz. or vert.

The D&M is a little narrower than the Wimmer at the base as well so if your looking for less intrusive it might be better. D&M also makes a clean mount for it too.

I like the D&M style wise a bit more than the wimmer but Kevin's is pretty bad ass.

I appreciate all of the help fellas! A lot of good options. I'm thinking I may just run the D&M single spike since so many people seem to like it. The wimmer is nice but it's almost twice the price for the same thing. I was just concerned about air restriction but if everyone is running theirs with no issues, it's good enough for me!

I love the look but I've heard the same. I watched a YouTube dyno comparison between a spike and the S&S dual runner and it picked up 3 hp and 3 ft/lbs torque by ditching the spike. Now... if that's actually noticeble while riding... i don't know but the spike looks a little more aggressive to me which I like. Just not too crazy about choking down power unless it's negligible.

Before my spike intake my bike was..
1. Loud
2.Fast
3. Badass

After the spike intake it was..
1. Loud
2.Fast
3. Badass

...in other words I highly doubt you are gonna notice any difference, I sure as hell didn't.

The S&S air cleaner should have picked up a lot more than 3 and 3.
