Hey Eric! Glad to hear you are home and things are looking up for you!! Haven't been around to head out your way for a while. Been up in PA for some training that's going to go til pretty much the end of March. Once this is over we'll have to see if you are up for a trip to RNH or something...

Well I'm trying to stay sane yep, unfortunately this incident I had no say in from the beginning so at this point getting upset just won't help me recover.

What I think I learned from this accident is heaven didn't want me and hell was afraid I'd take over :eek:. haha
Glad to hear your doing better Eric, obviously you still have things to do here before your allowed through the pearly gates! ;) :D

Make "her" insurance buy you the best of everything

:chopper::chopper:
I'll actually be lucky to come out of this financially whole. Luckily I have health insurance but that doesn't cover everything....My fear came true she has the state minimum insurance.

Are you using an attorney? I was in 3 fairly bad car wrecks within less than 10 years time. My friend who owned a physical rehab center at the time of the first accident recommended that I go thru a lawyer and I will always recommend that to anybody. That first accident was a 5 car pile up with me taking the brunt of it. There was talk of the insurance company only having so much to go around but the lawyer was able to help me get what I needed since my car was totaled and I required chiropractic care. The next accident, the guy tried to flee the scene, was able to speak English only when convenient, and had such high risk insurance that even my chiropractor's office manager never heard of it. And the last one, the lady that hit me started lying that it wasn't her fault. That last one I only had 150 miles on my car. :(
In all cases, lawyers took better care of me than I could've myself. It was also nice to be able to focus on healing and not have to worry about all that.

I had some good friends watching him on a small ranch. They have 4 other dogs and pigs and horses he had a good time!

Funny enough to mention how awesome this forum is Jon and his wife Amy who watched my 4 legged dog we met because of this forum. He had an 05 ridgeback back when I just had the 04 rigid. He sold it a few years ago. We still try and meet up and do holidays together at least. Both are amazing and great people, and I'm lucky to call them friends thanks to the forum!

Yep I'm using a lawyer, I agree it's not worth my time either and I know this shit takes forever, he said it could be a year.

Well he said he has a very small pot to work with unfortunately and he was sorry to confirm my worry about her insurance. They are already in talks with my insurance because apparently there is an entire department (subrogation) dedicated to trying to claw back what they can. I just changed over to Aetna as of Jan 1 and according to the lawyer they are the hardest to deal with unfortunately. Go figure.

So apparently he has to cut deals with my personal health insurance carrier too. So yeah I'm letting the lawyers handle it, not to mention I already got a stack of medical bills/paperwork 10 inches high.
