And nice garage btw!
What did you do to fix the rocker box noise? No sir.. it's in my rocker boxes which I have a fix for. So I should be gold when this is all said and done.. it' just a waiting game now broham
Nothing.. still have it.. so the breakdown shows no bushings on the inside of the rocker carrier, that rod is where that noise came from.. that rod is basically chattering back and forth.. more or less rolling and ticking against the bolts. N e ways, I have put less then 300 miles on the bike since the end of October when I put her back together just because of anger and disgust after dropping almost 2k on this for someone to tell me it's good and it's not. I washed the bike yesterday and put about 80 miles on her and she ticked like a grandfather clock on crack, just not good..What did you do to fix the rocker box noise?
Yeah, s9meone suggested them to me but they will not work for these 117s

Weird forum is causing problems on tapatalk and double posting so I tried to delete. Not sure why you say that, They are notoriously noisy.
I have mine out and the shaft bushings are fine, but there is a lot of play between the notch in shaft and the bolt.
Mine sounds like crap, I can’t stand it.
.0013 is not 13 thousands, its 13-10 thousandsAlso note the S&s manual the bushings are in spec between 0.5546" - 0.5559". That's only 13 thousands of an inch!
That's why I asked how do you know they are in spec? I know I don't trust my calipers to measure that small I got a cheap set.. Haha

Well good news is shaft and bushings are only about $60 total and if you take it down to your local shop guy have him install the bushings and ream them with the $200 tool your only out about $60 plus whatever be might charge for the bushings gotta be no more than 30 minIdk.. but what I do know is I waisted almost 2k.. I would not recommend the guy that did the work to n e one and now I'm screwed do to unforseen financial circumstances. I mean bike runs great, just a noisy bastard and I'm not cool with that..
