Stroker's has several '06, '07 K9s for sale, including Bubblehead's. they also have a new one listed so the ins. co. can do a comparison.
Didn't realize they had that many...cant get anymore expensive than strokers....whoops that slipped.

Wow a 2016 K9 wirh 1500 miles for 25k. People who buy these bikes to sell a year later? Makes no sense.....

Good things come to those that wait:oldhardlaugh:
Ya know black is going to be harder to keep clean than the orange one, what was that called a pitboy. :oldlaugh: So you should just get a trailer with plexiglass sides to haul it around so it don't get dusty, you'll be riding this one less than the pitboy.

Ah, great link Wood, thanks.

And yes I know my K9 to this crew, even with all the options, isn't likely worth 15k...but that's not the point. The at fault driver's insurance company is who I'm fighting with. They can kiss my ass if they think they're going to low-ball me on a bike I've had since new with thousands of extra options (air ride, motor/cam work etc.). This moron hit me dead stopped because he was being an impatient little bitch in traffic and wasn't paying attention. Well guess what -- if you can't afford to pay attention, you're going to afford to pay something else.

Thanks for all your help guys. I plan on keeping the bike, now I just get to figure out what is fair for me -- I don't give a hoot about their feelings, nor do I care to make friends.

When mine got totaled I swapped back out as many of the upgrades that I wanted and had time to do, didn't get to swap out the 40A stator and bandit clutch.
With my insurance in NJ (no fault state) I did ok letting them total it but the buy back was insane and I would have lost big money even doing the work myself. I lucked out and got a same yr bike with only 1515 miles on it -- I know those deals are getting harder and harder to find.
Good luck.

Yeah, we will have to see what the buy back is. Once they see this parts list and price, they may re-think totaling this thing anyway! Legally here in CO they have to return me to pre-loss condition, so every part that's not standard has to be accounted for, including the labor.

Yeah, u have a better chance battling their insurance then ur own unfortunately.. might want to get a lawyer evolved and they make decisions pretty quick and usually in ur favor once a suit gets added to the mix..

I have almost as many attorneys as I do friends, as most my friends are attorneys. They're already all over it, and AmFam knows who is representing me. That doesn't mean they won't bitch and make it a pain in my ass. As the old saying goes "you pay your insurance so you're reasonably sure who you get to argue with when it comes time for a claim."
