Running 75mph on a mountain pass, does the new light put out usable light or is it more of a reflective light? I have an LED light now that works fairly well but find I am still overdriving the light on some night runs.
I have never had an LED on this bike, but I had LED on other bikes and this is definitely superior to it! This things distance and width is amazing.. jmo.

I was sold awhile back.
Looking forward to buying one... once I get a couple other issues with the Dog addressed. At the moment, I Couldn't out-ride a candle... or out-push one...lol.
Great post, Kel... and good on you for the credit given to Eric. Good stuff, right there.

So this is my second one. First was a different brand. It started getting cloudy. I replaced with the same one referenced in this post. Light I'd great but is getting cloudy spots too. Not condensation, but The lens itself.

Plastic is going to oxidize. But you can put a layer of clear vinyl over it. That will stop the pitting & oxidizing. Easy to change out too

I suppose there is a reason they cost like 50$

I don't know, I had a faulty one sent to me, sent it back and it was replaced with a new one.. but as stated above, it's a bang for the buck.. not a huge methodical investment.. jmo

Prolly caused by the heat inside the sealed unit.
Strange...im at 6500 miles and its fine.

Anyone getting condensation inside I would think is a defect. Not sure there should be a difference plastic or glass as far as any condensation goes.

Its not condensation, I've seen the same thing he's talking about on car head lights. The inside is clouding over or turning whitish

I just noticed where you're from, went right by there last month on a ride to Lansing. You ever come to Canada?
Haven't been ina long time. Used to go to our plant in Windsor quite often, and way back had a supplier in Toronto.

Very not happy right now. I've had this headlight 5 weeks or so and the left rectangular low beam fell out. There's also a white burn on the inside of the lense.

I'm sorry about that they do have a 1 year warranty you can reach out to the seller and Amazon to get you a replacement.

I don't know what would cause that white part.

I was never a fan of the "look" of the daymakers, but I bought one, since I'm not in my 20's anymore, I noticed my night vision isn't what it used to be, and I've hit a 4 legger on a bike and it's not fun. When I first put it on I was still not a fan....then I took it out at night. I don't think I'll ever use anything else, what a huge difference!! It's grown on me while sitting still, that it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to

Do I have to register it or anything like that? I ordered another one because I really like it and I'm hoping it doesn't happen again but if I can get another one I'll be happy as can be
