I had mean mothers on my 05 chopper. I then switched to Vance & Hines Big Radius. Both sounds great. My meanmother pipes are not being used. They need a mount weld. If you want them let me know, I'll sell them very cheap.

PD, how much do you want. I'm sure they will fit my 07 Chopper. How bad is the weld break on the mount? Can it be rewelded so it will still work strong and look fairly decent? I may be intrested.

I now and then have a passenger. Leaning right now towards Grumpy's Thumpers, just wondering how they will perform.

I'm looking for a loud set of pipes that still looks good on my 04 chopper any suggestions?

So, I take you are stil running the stock pipes that came on your Chopper??? If you change, do you have plans for your stock set of pipes???

I have a 08 k9, am taking of yaffee phantom, interested in selling, but I am going to install some mean mothers, I bought a set already, but they have no o2 sensor bungs. I need to buy those as well as two new o2 sensors. Question do you think the mean mothers will be louder than the phantoms ?

Hey Glenguy...Skogdog (Rick) here. Are you planning to sell the Phanthom pipes, and if so what condition are they in? I'd to acquire that exhaust for my 2008 K9.

Rick seems like they have 02 bungs so you'd have to weld em.. Just an FYI

You mean the fuelies have the O2 ports?---I thought you just put in plugs. But maybe they vibrate out like Roger's Eddie Trottas did? Hahaha Why not put in plugs and hit a spot of weld on it?

I've owned a few fuelies, and even more carbureted bikes, and of course the fuelies tend to be smoother, get somewhat better mileage, and of course run much better in the mountains (this really applies to Kansas bikes).
I sing a different tune when any problems with the fuelie comes up.......

Haha hopefully you won't have to.. But I bet if it does happen yoir first instinct will be to stare at it figuring out how to rip it off and put a carb on it..lol

Although I think the same stuff is used on Harley's so I really can't see ya having many issues

True dat! I probably could have replaced a carb for what the fuel injection rebuild kit cost....with <50 miles on the damn thing!!

I've got a set of new Supertrapps pipes taken off my 2005 Chopper in 2005 still in the box. They are on eBay right now.
