I push the k9 every now and then, but never really hard.. there were a few times when I had a patch on my back and the same guy riding a vrod with a rival patch wanted to go at at and I spanked him badly.. both times.. these bikes are vicious and I was foolish to take the k9 up to 148 before getting deathly scared and backing off.. but point being even when I did that I don't think I ever got any higher then about 6k.. would I want to go that high, probably not due to the fact that I'm not gunna throw revtec or Ultima parts in my S&S when I do mess her up, just the simple fact that S&S is like the Lamborghini of motorcycle engines and very proud of their name as to why they charge an arm, leg and testicle for parts.. but if u can afford it.. hell with it and ride on brotha!!
ONE HUNDRED AND 48. Holy fuck.how were you hanging on. That's over 217 feet per second. That's 2/3rds of a football in the blink of an eye.

Yea, I would just go ahead and chalk that one up to you got lucky my friend! I have hit somewhere in the 120 to 125 range, hard to tell when its pulling so hard you don't really wanna look down at the speedo, all I know is that was faster than I need to go again, couldn't even imagine 148! :oldwtf: :oldsmile:

Yeah if I had factory speedo and bars I probably woulda never known how fast I was going.. the bars and speed sit a bit higher then the factory set up.. and yeah, I counted that one for sure and thanked God I made it home that night..
