:here: People!! we aren't here to put other folks down for their ideas of cool! :oldnono: Who says everyone has to fall in love with our bikes? I personally don't care that much for choppers, but I will never tell anyone that their bike sucks.:nonod: Several people here with choppers complimented me on my pit bull, which I really appreciate.:yesnod: We gotta remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, (that's a goofy saying):skep: , but it's so true! Wade, that's YOUR bike, do to it what makes YOU happy. I don't have to like it, but I won't poke fun at it.:chopper: How about a big group hug? ( not so fast there Ker!) :oldlaugh: :oldrant: END of RANT :disappointed::disappointed:

That's the quality dialogue and intelligence that I was hoping that this forum would bring. Way to contribute.
Pretty sure he was commenting on the picture put up by Viking with the huge front wheel not you. I agree with Chubs above, to each his own, everyone has different taste. Personally I don't think a 23" wouldn't be too bad, 26" wouldn't look right at all on a chopper. Personally I love the 23" on the right bike but like the 21" on choppers. If you decide to do it, just make sure the geometry is set up right so you don't ruin the ride or even worse, make it dangerous. Theres a great group of guys and gals here with tons of knowledge, but we also like to bust balls and give brutally honest opinions, don't take it to heart!!!

:here:This thread brings back memories, Did ya ever take the forks off a 26" bike and put em on your Schwin stingray with an 18" front wheel off your kid brother's bike? with that banana seat and ape hangers we had the most bad assed choppers on the block :chopper::chopper:

C'mon now you said "any input is appreciated" and then you get ticked because someone gave their input.
Had you stated "helpful input" I would have just shook my head and then said...........

I can guarantee you that if you put a huge ass wheel like that on a Big Dog you "Will" completely change the dynamics of the bikes handling.
They become wobbly and goofy feeling. I've had the unfortunate opportunity to work on a couple like that.
If all your interested in is having something that looks different from everyone elses then you will certainly accomplish that.
The art of putting a wheel like that on a bike is just math. Figure out the rake and trail, here are some examples, to get the length of the tubes you need and bolt it together. Your going to have to get a different front fender and make custom fender mounts for it, if you stick with the stock BD stuff. If you go with a different front end then again its just figuring out the best rake and trail you can live with, because that is what you will have to do is live with it, and then go through the front ends available out there until you find the one you like with the proper tree rake and length you need. Of course you can always start getting in to frame modification etc but thats a whole new arena.
Like FrankBDPS stated definitely do dual front disc. I think BD should have done that even with the tire size they used but I digress.

Like you though I don't much give a shit what people think so my original comment still stands.....

I like a lot of MMW rollers! I have given some serious thought to them as well over he years. I will likely build one too one day.

Look forward to seeing your build. Please keep us posted.
