2008 Ridgeback 23" front tire

Any Ridgeback owners do a 23" front tire conversion on a stock front end?
I'm Looking to do this in the near future. Any input is appreciated.

Sorry Wade if that wasn't what you wanted to hear. I just looked back at the picture of your bike, you posted on your intro, and that is one beautiful Ridge.
The biggest problem I have with changing the dynamics of how these bikes are set up is, that out of all the different choppers and other bikes that I have ridden, Big Dog has, bar none, hands down, the best ridding bikes out there. Including the Ridgeback.
Any changes we make to the rake and trail, is going to make it harder to ride. Unless you just ride a few miles to the bar and back, leave the bike alone. I have ridden a Ridgeback many hundreds of miles, and enjoyed every bit of it.
If you really like the big tire, and many people do, put it on a bagger Harley.

Wade, it's you're bike and you can modify it any way you like. I know a guy here in Ohio that makes a living building baggers with those large front tires. There is more to it than just rolling it in place and sliding the axle thru. One thing I would recommend is dual brake rotors and calipers. Those big tires are very hard to slow down. If you decide to do it good luck and post up some pics.

Not a bagger fan at all. I like the 23" on the mastif & thought that a large wheel/tire setup out front would be a unique look. I can't imagine it affecting the handling much. I'm leaning 26" now & that will be enough of a change that the trail will need to be adjusted. I'll upload some pics when this project is completed.

No Ridgeback owners I know of have put a 23 inch wheel on the front.
