Sorry Wade if that wasn't what you wanted to hear. I just looked back at the picture of your bike, you posted on your intro, and that is one beautiful Ridge.
The biggest problem I have with changing the dynamics of how these bikes are set up is, that out of all the different choppers and other bikes that I have ridden, Big Dog has, bar none, hands down, the best ridding bikes out there. Including the Ridgeback.
Any changes we make to the rake and trail, is going to make it harder to ride. Unless you just ride a few miles to the bar and back, leave the bike alone. I have ridden a Ridgeback many hundreds of miles, and enjoyed every bit of it.
If you really like the big tire, and many people do, put it on a bagger Harley.
