Allen King is an unknown quantity at this point
Thanks for all the feedback. Big Dog has called me and wants me to bring the bike in for repair. I don't know what their intentions are but I think they should take some resposibility for my bike dying out on me while in traffic. Aside from the bike dying out on me, I could have been killed and I had damage to the bike that would never have happened if not for the problem. And like I in mentioned in my other statements I had just spent close to a thousand dollars getting other problems corrected. When this happened I had to pay $100 to have my chopper towed a mile back to my house, in addition to that I had to rent a trailer and drive almost 80 miles to the nearest big dog dealer who couldn't find this problem over a year ago when I first noticed a problem. I will have to just wait and see what happens.

Allen.

05chop is on a distinguished road
Just to show what bigdog did for a girl that rides a 2006 chopper that has over 12k miles on the bike . This was before the BDM dealer closed down in ft collins colorado.Bigdog had the bike shipped back to kansas. This bike caught fire near the ehc.Had alot of damage to wires.Sounds like a case study for bigdog.FT Collins didnt have updated voltage regulator at the time of her 10k service. 05chop

That's the thing you people must understand. BDM will stand behind it and fix it to the customers satisfaction. UNLESS you are a complete a-hole! Amy and Bob both are great to deal with. Easy going and while fixing your problems, even get in a few laughs. I can NOT speak highly enough about how well they have treated me.

I HAD A PROBLEM THAT WAS JUST LIKE YOURS. MY COIL HAD BROKEN ALL THE WAY ACROSS WHERE IT MOUNTS AND WAS JUST HANGING THERE BUY THE PLUG WIRES. THE WHOLE BIKE WOULD TURN OFF AND ON BY ITSELF WHEN COLD AND THEN WHEN IT HEATED UP WOULDN'T RUN AT ALL. MIGHT BE WORTH TAKING A LOOK TO SEE IF YOURS IS OK. A COIL IS CHEAPER THEN A NEW COMPUTER. I AM ALSO NEW TO THE SITE. CHEERS, JEFF

Allen,
Like Gasman and Blitz said you get monre with honey than vinegar...never threaten legal action to them on the phone cause then they're done talking to ya and the legal dept steps in....04's had EHC problems and they are aware of it...if it's a documented warranty issue I have never seen them not do whats right...good luck...welcome to the sight
