I am assuming that with a 40 amp alternator you need a 40 amp VR?

Took it to R&B in Nashville today since BDM had a change of heart on my bike and called and said they would warranty the bike and find out why it has ate 3 EHCs and when I got it there today it was for sure the 4th Battery that i have bought that took a dump..We will see what else it is..At least I got BDM to actually admit my bike had a problem and they will warranty the labor on it to say the least...

Yeah sounds like it is deff vr,mine popped like that a month ago when i started the bike.I rode a quarter mile and she caught fire .I posted the pics up here.I got a billet compufire off ebay,if you got the loot do the 3 phase system.I couldn't, i had just gotten back from laconia the day before and my buddies bike came loose on the trailer and took out my fatboys tanks.Laconia in a nutshell....2 tickets, 1 in jersey 1 in conneticut, dwi checkpoint outside wiers beach, flat tire 100 miles outside laconia, locked up truck and trailor when some little ny j.o. cut me off, bikes came loose, crazy traffic ,13 hours jersey to nh.But for the first time in history the sun came out in laconia !
