ENGINE CASE
HEY GUYS ? ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE LOWER PART OF THEIR ENGINE CASE CORODING ?????
ON MY '05 CHOPPER , I DON'T HAVE THE FULL POLISHED MOTOR AND THE LOWER PART OF THE CASES ARE GETTING A HAZY, BROWN, RUSTED LOOKING FILM ON THEM ?? JUST WASHING WON'T TAKE IT OFF. NOT TRIED A POLISH OR CLEANER YET. I KNOW THAT ALUMINUM CAN OXIDIZE BUT NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. ANY IDEAS ??

Try using that Wizards metal polish and then they have a sealer that helps keep that shine longer. If it is really bad....use the Wizards Metal Renew. Aluminum oxidation would be white and powdery, nothing like rust. Rust is oxidized iron.
