Tips to replace spark plug wires?

I just bought some new spark plug wires and I was wondering if there was any easy way to replace them without having to completely remove the coil cover?
The two pinch clamps holding the wires on are not easy to get to while the coil cover is still attached to the bike.
Any tips?
Thanks
Scottie

Thats what the service manual calls them. There are two round straps that hold the wires away from the jugs.

I had to remove the cover. Used zip ties to secure the wires to the pinch clamps as the clamps were too small for the new wires. Pretty easy job.

Ok... I was wondering about having to remove the cover... is no way to get easily to them without removing it, right?

If you dont have these so-called "Pinch Clamps" then you can just pull the plug wires and replace. I was able to get my hands in there, it's a slight pain to get the new wires back on the coil but it can be done. It took me about 10. Still faster than the pulling the cover off and losing one of those nylon washers in the process

Yup, thanks for the info. I will deal with it next month when I go home on R&R... I've got a long list of small mods to carry out
