Time for a new rear tire I think

Going on my third rear tire with 9100 miles now. First one had a plug in it and was changed at 3500. This lasted a little longer. I ordered a AVON COBRA R 300/35R-18 REAR TIRE FAT CUSTOM AV72 on Ebay for 239.95.
eBay Motors: AVON COBRA R 300/35R-18 REAR TIRE FAT CUSTOM AV72 (item 110273029851 end time Jul-31-08 19:14:42 PDT)
I thought it was spinning a little when it rained the other day..Go figure...
I havent figured out were the tire wear marks are yet

On a side note, it seems to be a little bit more worn on the left side of center as well. This must be contributed to the fact that the majority of the watering holes I visit are on the left side of the road. Left turn Clyde..

Yikes ... you go through some rubber there bud! I have 4,000 miles on mine and it still looks almost new!! I was thinking of trying a set of Metzlers when these go but so far its looking like I may get over 10K on these first. Good luck!!

That is the same place I bought my tire. You will like the new tread it does better on wet roads than the older tire tread.

BigBlueDog will become famous soon enough
I have 14,000 on my original rear and I still have better than 3/32 before the tread bar. I'm thinking my Venom will last for another 4000 miles at least. I did replace my front tire at 12,000 but that was due to my stupidity for not keeping an eye on my tire pressure. Ran the front one way low on air for way too long.

What are the chances that the frame/swing arm may not be true? Wouldn't that cause uneven wear?

Most all tires tend to do that.

It's due to roads not being exactly flat and the majority of the time your bike is actually leaning to stay straight.... also, left turns are always longer than right turns so the bike stays in a lean longer on a left turn. ( Unless you're Lee, then you just reverse the logic and make left right and, right left. )

Every bike I've ever had has worn tires like that.
