Beach Street by Carl's Speed Shop and the Track have most of the vendors. There are also a bunch at Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona.

They do not get booked a year in advance, that's just a myth. You can find good deals close to main street a few weeks in advance. Best place to stay if you want to enjoy it to the fullest. At night park the bike and watch the morons get drunk and drive on Main Street, it's a blast in itself. Then safely walk to your hotel and enjoy the next day as you're starting in the middle of everything. No need to ride no 20 miles just to get there. I've been there since 1993, same show, slightly more mixed crowd and fun nevertheless...

I also say Beach St or try to get into the Racetrack... It seemed like they had plenty of room for vendors last year. Good luck and let us know where you end up so folks like me can stop by and spend some cash!
Anyone riding through Jacksonville are are more than welcome to stop by my house for a pit stop. PM if you plan stopping through... we'll stoke a fire in the driveway and kick back some cold beers.

Try La Playa. Are you still looking for under $200? I posted two others that were $127 a night. La Playa was about the same price. Otherwise try Homewood Suites by the track. Last I looked, they were $89 a night.

Try the maverick in Ormond beach I have been going there on bike week for years,it's quite cheap ,has a breakfast joint downstairs and is right in the thick of things .If you have a large group just go on VRBO condo rentals and rent a condo for a week, might be a better deal ,good luck in your search.

Try websites (Kayak, Expedia, Hotels, so on). The prices will still be high, but at least youll have pics, phone numbers and maps of the locations.
As for places to go. Tourists go to Main St (A1A in Daytona Beach) and IronHorse Saloon (US1 in Ormand Beach). Both are shoulder to shoulder and nut to butt. If you desire a more laid back spacious destination, try Destination Daytona, Broken Spoke (both on US1 in Ormand Beach). Ride The Loop also. Any local business can tell you where everything is. Best advice...dont drive crazy. Keep the exhaust volume to a decent level and the cops wont bug you. Have fun.
