Well shit There is absolutely no excuse for the way I am about to act.
I have a 2007 K-9 and I have the windshield and the saddlebags to go with it.
The windshield keeps the June bugs off and that is about it ($350.00) the Saddlebags work good for a 0ne to three day trip ($1,600.00)
You can read all the shit you want on hear but just keep in mind it is your bike and your money.
When you start worrying what other people think you have just lost the game

I value my front teeth! On top of that, having a radio with two speakers, amp and a beer holder works! Just my 2 cents!

I use one when I go on long trips. Easy on and off...takes less than 3 minutes to put on or off. And I could care less what everybody else thinks. Its your bike do what you want. I'll eat the bugs before I'll wear a full face helmet. Barhopper uses a full face helmet and a pink backpack

just got a 2008 K-9 with windshield - man, I used to get a neck pain after riding a few hundred miles, but with this 10" windshield I feel great even after long rides.
Oh yes, let me top that off - I bought the same saddle bags like Generatorman......

It is your scoot, do what you want with it.
If we wanted all bikes to look the same we would all have Harleys
When I get old, I may look into these wind sheild things.

What's are these yellow bugs you all are talking about? Only yellow bugs out here that would do us any harm have a VW emblem on the front of them. Must be one of those darn Southern type bugs. Us Kalifornicators don't have to fear no damn yellow bugs. It's the darn Soccer Mom's that scare the daylights out of us. Fear the Volvo emblem in your mirrors!
