New Pipes / 07 K9 - Big Guns, Samson

Hello Everybody!
I just took off my sling shots by Arlen Ness and now I'm giving Samson Big Guns a try - Don't know how well they'll work out fitment is iffffy, rear pipe at the head is a pretty hard angle, I built my own Center bracket. They began to blue after 5 miles. I love the look and the sound. feel free give me some feed back - What Ya Think! K9er / Bill.

I think they look great! If you are going for that "old School look" with semi-up-sweeps, I would also run a mid length sissy bar. You asked!!! Nice bike, GREAT color.

My Samson Big Guns

OK - so I'm Not getting a lot of feed back.
Ive put 600 miles on the new pipes - they sound great / I lost HP, knew it was going to happen, 6th gear at 80MPH = 2000RPM, biggest PRO is all the noise is WAY behind me, biggest CON is friends complaining that the exhaust vortex gives them quite the blow job when they are behind and right of me. I'm keep'n em!

Brew will become famous soon enough
It's definitely different and it's unique. I'm not seeing heat shields so, I think you might see some more bluing appear. I agree a sissy bar would complement it...

Well you might not like this, but I think you need a smaller garage or more toys to put in the one you got now Oh, an I like the new pipes.

what's the difference whether we like them or not, it's your scoot and the only opinion that counts is yours.

Raywood and I like them. Were working on a set of fishtails for his 05 chopper that look similar to these.

Well.....now after seeing them up close & personal... I like them alot.

You did a great job on fabbing up the bracket - pro look all the way.

Maybe someone on here will chime in on a way to add the back pressure (baffle) so you can get back the HP.

Good job!
