Nope, but I've been dead and living underground for sometime now too!

Mike Stocum of RCC (Rochester Custom Cycle) has been building motors for for nearly 30 yrs. He has several Drag bikes that are being raced in the AHDRA currently. 2 of which are holding national records. I worked for Mike 8 yrs ago when I was fresh out of school. He is hell of a nice guy and the knowledge he has is far from anyone else I know. Was a great learning experience working for him.
Joe at American Heritage is another with a lot of knowledge and experience who also builds a lot of hot rod motors. Never worked for him but know he has a history with motorcycles. He's been in bike magazines in the past and worked for S&S back in early 2000 in the R&D dept.
I'm sure there are others in NY state as well. My bad for not knowing of every bike shop out there

We met Mike, at Liecester, N.Y.(New York International Raceway Park) over 15 years ago, when we were there, testing/tuning. We also know who Joe is.
We have been in many magazines(means NOTHING), have done cylinder head work for S&S employees, and have many friends throughout the Harley aftermarket industry, which does mean something. John Sachs is on that list.
Why for, do you have a case of the a$$, and a level of sarcasism, which is being directed towards us??
WTF did we do???

I am not by any means directing it towards you guys. I'm directing it towards "TheDeadOne" and "BikerDream" and others who just seem to want to start arguments on hear at times. This whole thing has just snowballed from a simple statement I made about not knowing of your shop. I was simply stating of a few other shops in upstate NY that are very good at what they do but may not be known across the US or even in NY state. I'm sorry if you took it that way. I have nothing against you or your shop. Sorry
Someday maybe we will meet and I will apologize in person.
Why can't we all just get along on here?

I'm sorry, but I think that you might be a little confused here with your statement.

I "do" take offence towards your accusation made towards me of "who just seem to want to start arguments on hear at times".

Might I just refresh your "selective" memory loss of "your previous comments"!

Wouldn't you take that as somewhat of an insult or down grading if that comment were made towards you or someone that you knew?
I would think and hope so!

Never even heard of them and you're going to throw out that kind of accusation.

Are you sure that you would "know" the difference one way or the other in their capabilities, if you saw it?

Yes, I would suggest you make the trip to Hillside, and possibly even down to John Sachs place and see what the true "pros" do and have to offer for ones such as yourself.

Yea, they might just tell you that they can see that a very abrupt occupational change is in your near future too with that ego!

j/k

Yes this is the comments I made towards you. But...if you'll really take notice, rather than you just jumping over the edge first, you'll see that I added "j/k"(just kidding), laughs (Ha Ha), grin , thumbs up and cheers to my post.
And those things were added because I was "NOT" mad or serious with these comments towards you. But rather to try and Make You Realize that your ego was writing checks that couldn't be cashed, and hoping to make you also realize that your comments make you look very bad in many others eyes here also. Others that may have knowledge about Hillside and spent good money with them in the past for their professionalism.

My first piece of advice would be, just try and remember that when you get that feeling or urge to act or comment to everyone that you can walk on water. Remember that Jesus Christ died a long time ago, and "nobody" since that time has been able to accomplish that feat again!

and my second:
In order to try and make a friend, you damn sure don't call them out, down or whatever, OK?

Just like you stated before: "Why can't we all just get along on here?"
I think that the key word in that statement would be "ALL"!

I'm all for gettin' along with folks.
Maybe we should all remember the fact that these bikes are truely beautiful pieces of equipment, and emotions do get involved from time to time, as the level of pride is big.
No offense taken here, looking at it that way.
Again, just happy to be on board here, with you guys!!!

This posting has just gotten out of hand. It started with cams, worked it's way up to ego's and now we are talking about Jesus walking on water...... I'm sorry if I have offended anyone on here. For anyone who knows me, they could tell you all that I do NOT have an EGO problem. That is just not who I am. I came onto this site with intentions of helping people in need. Not to put anyone down, or bash someone, or tell them they have ego problems.
I for one do not go around claiming to know everything and give facts on things that are not factual. That's what someone does when they have an ego problem. I take it personally when someone tells me I have an ego problem. I think you guys are just reading into this all wrong. This thing (post) needs to just end now
Maybe I should just say the hell with it and not post anything at all.
