This has long sense been a question. Its very simple. Only a few steps past just swapping out your lenses.
You may have to do this cause you have a bad board, or maybe a scratched housing, or going to a aftermarket set.
Pull your lens with a flat head screw driver
You get this
Now you have your LED board
Pry out your LED board on the board itself...
The rubber cup will come with it
Now stick the screw driver behind the rubber cup
BAM
You will find the wiring clip like this
Now to remove the wiring clip from the board. GENTLY pry up the small catch on the clip like so
Now disconnected
here's what you're looking at
And for me what the front looks like with empty turns. The rears go the same way.
Then you have to use a safety pin to remove the wires from the actual clip. it is tricky but can be done. You may want an extra hand to help with this.
I couldn't take a pic of this and do this at the same time. Plus it gets frustrating. So here's how the manual shows it done.
Now un-bolt the housing with a 1/2" wrench
And now you have no blinkers
If you plan on removing all the wiring like I do. you will have to pull the tank, trace the wires back and disconnect under the tank. I suggest pulling the wire hiding cover on the bottom of the lower tripple to help.
